Research Summary

My research focuses on the human adaptation, settlement sustainability, economic resilience and the manifestation of power (including development of social hierarchies) in the North Atlantic. Current themes; the Iron Age in the British North Atlantic, the development of landscape, economy and power from the Neolithic to the Late Norse Period. Key Publications: Dockrill, S. J., J. M.
