Insular and coastal archaeology, with particular reference to bioarchaeological investigations. Present projects are based on the Western Isles, Scotland and the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall. Active in field archaeology with research areas include zooarchaeology, sea level change, stable istotopes and aDNA, also interested in sustaining and supporting insular communities and their heritage.
