This working group aims to enhance the sharing of information and knowledge both within and outwith the traditional academic arena. The cross-disciplinary nature of human-ecodynamic research means that it is important that information and data can easily be accessed and shared. This working group aims to contribute to improving how this is done and develop innovative ways of sharing information and making sure that research data is archived in safe and accessible systems.
It is also important that we make sure this research is available to the non-academic community, i.e. the people who actually fund our research. Outreach should not be seen as a means of explaining our research to the public, but involving local communities should be part of the research and we intend to develop systems to enable this.
Membership of this working group is open to all GHEA members who would like to contribute to the development of knowledge sharing and archiving within human-ecodynamics. You do not have to be a technical expert to join this group, we welcome anyone with an interest and a need to see the development of innovative ways of sharing knowledge.
